Taste Port Douglas introduces Wolf Lane Distillery Masterclass

Learn all about making the perfect cocktail with Wolf Lane Distillery co-founder Sam Kennis

With an all-star lineup of Australian chefs and producers, Taste Port Douglas returns for its sixth edition, delivering a smorgasbord of culinary masterclasses, signature dinners and unique dining experiences across the idyllic far North Queensland resort destination from 11-14 August.

​The Taste Port Douglas Masterclass Series is a two-day, hands-on series of informative and fun masterclasses led by industry experts. Hosted on Saturday 13 August, the Wolf Lane Distillery Masterclass is an interactive session where participants will learn all about making the perfect cocktail with Wolf Lane Distillery co-founder Sam Kennis.

​Welcomed with a gin cocktail on arrival, guests will learn more about the history of cocktails, the tools that bring cocktails to life and how best to use them, and the history of Wolf Lane Distillery, before watching cocktails being made by the team and tasting them along with food matched with each drink. Guests will also try their hand with a classmate at making the perfect cocktail for the Wolf Lane distillery team to judge, with a prize for the winning cocktail up for grabs. ​

Top celebrity chefs and masters of fire will bring their flame game to Taste Port Douglas this August with Fat Mango BBQ, presenting a fiery feast on day two of the Sheraton Festival Village’s ‘Gourmet Lawn’.
